Details of how a syndicate of Chinese gamblers allegedly swindled nearly $1 million from Conrad Jupiter's Casino have emerged in court.Six Chinese nationals were charged with fraud over a scam at the mini baccarat tables in Club Conrad, the high rollers' room of the casino. They were caught at the Gold Coast airport with their winnings in May.Security footage was aired in Southport Magistrate's Court showing how the gang of six allegedly pulled off the stunt.The tapes showed one player concealing two cards under his palm during play, and dealing them on to the table as the game progressed. The cards worked against the dealer's hand, allowing three other players to win a total of $944,000. When the alleged swindlers were arrested, police found several casino playing cards in their luggage, the court was told.Jianwen Lui, 38, Songtao Zhao, 34, Zhigang Lui, 34, Iberahim Abbas, 55, Waibin Shao, 38, and Weishan Lui, 44, have each been charged with fraud.
